Feb. 5 Sue and Nancy Pulled weeds. Turned off valve for rows 2 & 3. Both were dripping quite a bit and thought it was a waste of precious water. Very muddy between rows 1 & 2. Sprayed safer soap on cabbage. Did not notice any insects

Pulled a few weeds. Found 1-2 bugs on the SE end of Row 3(?). Sprayed with safe soap from storage container. Every thing else looked great. Covers are still on rows 2, 3 and 4

Wednesday 8/12/20 – Garden 2 Team: Jill, Chona, Xavier & Melynda We checked the garden for rodent damage (watch traps). We snipped off a few bell peppers that were chewed by rodents. Harvested: Kale 5lbs Swiss chard 3lbs Bok Choy 20lbs Harvested half of Bok Choy, rest will be harvested next week (per Roy’s instruction) No news on Gopher, Roy is keeping an eye out for him. The little sneak did eat the roots of a Napa cabbage which was not usable.

Cyndi. Picked up fallen fruit. Very small harvest. 1lbs of plums and 1lbs of nectarines.

Garden 1;  Garden  rows inspected. No infestations noted. Weeded as needed. Harvested 10 lbs. of Broccoli.  Assisted by Jill, Tammy and Barbara and Peggy. Water shutoff to harvested broccoli row by Jill.
