Shade Cloth

It is often helpful to use shade cloth to protect the crops from insects and to regulate the temperature of the rows.

— Use BLACK SHADE CLOTH to cool things down when it is hot.

– Use WHITE SHADE CLOTH to keep things warm when it is cold.

 

Tip: It is easier to roll the shade cloth up on the sides rather than roll underneath.

For plants that produce flowers, remove the shade cloth when flowers appear so pollinators can reach the flowers.
